About us

PEFA Runda is a community church located in the suburbs of Nairobi, Kenya. Though we are a COMMUNITY church with a non-denominational feel, and people from all faith backgrounds are welcome to come and worship Christ with us, we do have Pentecostal and Evangelical roots. We are part of the Pentecostal Evangelical Fellowship of Africa (PEFA) denomination that is affiliated with ELIM Churches in the US. We also partner with diverse churches and organizations with similar visions and calls to expand the Kingdom of God.

We preach the Gospel and make disciples whose lives are transformed for the glory of God and the growth of His Kingdom.

Statement of faith

  1. The Bible: Inspired, authoritative Word of God.
  2. One God: One true God in three persons (Father, Son, Holy Spirit).
  3. Jesus Christ: His Deity, virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension, and personal return.
  4. Holy Spirit: Convicts, regenerates, sanctifies, empowers believers, indwells them, and guides them.
  5. Salvation: Through God’s grace by faith in Jesus Christ, leading to new birth and justification.
  6. Humanity: Created in God’s image but fallen into sin, needing redemption.
  7. Holiness: Practicing holiness until the rapture.
  8. Evangelism: A strong focus on spreading the Gospel (Salvation, Healing, Baptism in the Holy Spirit).
  9. Church: The Body of Christ, united in love, worship, and obedience.
