Music Ministry
2 Chronicles 29:28, “The whole assembly bowed in worship, while the musicians played and the trumpets sounded…”
Colossians 3:16, “Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hyms, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts”
The purpose of the Music Ministry is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encourage believers in their walk with Christ, lead the congregation in worship and provide an avenue through which individuals may share their gift and be an integral part of the worship service. This ministry provides worship music for assigned church worship services and special services outside of the church.
Prayer Ministry
Acts 1:14, “They all joined together constantly in prayer…”
Acts 4:24, “…, they raised their voices together in prayer to God…”
Prayer is a priority in PEFA Runda. We believe that God has called all believers to the ministry of prayer both as individuals and corporately as a local church. Therefore we have two services of prayer, Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:00 pm and Sunday morning from 7:30 to 8:30 am. In both services we also have set a time for prayers for individual and corporate needs. Men and women who know how to pray respond as a prayer team to minister through their praying. By praying, they minister together to those who are going through times of trial or testing as well as join other in thanksgiving.
Media Ministry
Matthew 28:16, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…”
The media ministry is the how of sharing the Gospel. The objective is to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our visually-driven, ever-changing world through the use of technology and media, to equip other ministries of the church to use digital and electronic media as a worship and outreach tool. After all, the message of Jesus Christ is worth our energy and creativity. This ministry not only provides the technical support required for our worship services, but also records various events, teachings and sermons.
Ushering and Hospitality
Mark 10:45, “For even the Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve…”
This ministry helps create a great environment for guest, visitors, repeat visitors and members to experience the blessedness and joy of worshiping together. The ministry has a simple, but important goal – to serve the Lord by making everyone who attends a service fell welcome and important from the moment they get onto the church property as well as making the services function smoothly.
Men Ministry
1Corinthians 16:13, “Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men (courageous) be strong (ESV)
This is a growing ministry that exists to be a place where when will sharpen each other through relational connection. The aim is to create a safe place to share and receive strength to overcome and master the issues of life. We encourage men ministering to men for spiritual growth and encouragement as well as training and empowerment to serve others in the church community through fellowships, bible studies mentoring, retreats and special events.
Women Ministry
Proverbs 31:25, “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.”
The women ministry at PEFA Runda is for women of all ages, whatever season of life you are in. We hope to provide a place for you to get nurtured and grounded in God’s word, find grace, encouragement and hearts that can relate to you. We encourage women for spiritual growth and encouragement to serve others in church community through fellowships, bible studies, prayers, retreats and special events.
Youth Ministry
Psalm 119:9, “How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word.”
The youth ministry is a place where the young adults can develop friendships and learn about the word of God. We strive to help our youth deepen their relationship with God, their peers and to have a positive impact in the community. In a world where the youth are bombarded with different voices all seeking to influence them. We believe that God’s word gives the clearest direction for what’s best in their lives.
Children Ministry
Matthew 19:14, “Jesus said, let the little children come to me.”
At PEFA Runda we value the children’s ministry. We have a growing number of children who attend our children’s program that is coordinated and taught by trained volunteers. We are very passionate about kids also experiencing family worship so we allow them to stay with their parents in the main worship service before being released to their classes. Our aim is to make the word of God known and relevant to the children in a way that they can understand and appreciate.
